Question by Theman c: Wood workers, wood craft, cabinet maker, anyone who works with wood?
I need a chamfer strip. I tried to buy it but no one sells it. Here is a picture http://www.patterson-online.com/images/cat_images/Chamfer-Wood.jpg
Does anybody know where can i get it or do i have to take it to a shop to get it chamfered? I need about 12 feet strip and the dimensions are 1 inch height and 1 inch width. its small.

If you don’t have any woodworking tools, you’re probably going to have to go to someone who does. I can’t think of any trim shaped like that. Probably about the closest thing you will find is quarter round. It will be rounded over on one side, and flat on two sides. That piece can be made on either a router table or a table saw. Actually, the table saw would be my first choice.

I believe you are referring to the dado blade set he used to cut the 1/4″ grooves. You can find a set at any big box store or online. Just search “dado blade”.
