Question by Percy: Which is the best electric sander for wood to buy?
I have sears belt sander but would like to buy either a orbitor hand sander or pad. This would be used for cabinet doors and wood work.

Orbital sander, I have just done my G.C.S.E practical on the exact objects you just mentioned – orbital sander all the way it was quick and saved my life…
Go w/an orbitor hand. I love both of my Delta’s
I have a Black and Decker Mouse sander. Lightweight, easy to use, especially for the hard to reach areas. Here is a link to their newest with a dust collector:

If I were only permitted one sander, it would be a random orbital sander. They are the most versatile.
If you get one, be careful until you get the hang of it. They can be very aggressive sanders if you aren’t careful. You can take off a lot of wood and not realize it.
I personally have two Porter-Cable brand sanders.
