    im never buying from them again. i only used this pc as it was surplus and just gathering dust.
    but i have since figured out that the psu is fine. and it seems its the motherboard which is at fault. i jump started the psu by bridging the pins on the atx connector and it actually kicked into life. tested the output and it reads 12v , 3.3v and 5v. amazingly, dell handbook and website say a blinking amber light = dead psu.

    but im calling shenanigans on this one :)

  5. TheNews1990 says:

    @HappyConsoleGamer i agree

    cheers luke :)
    glad you liked it. i opted for a white finish on the cab because i liked how your candy cabs looked. they have a real arcade look to them so i wanted to emulate that to a certain degree, but still have a completely original design.

    unfortunately, the psu im using in the cab has fried ( its a dell ) so im changing the guts out for standard atx parts instead. i have a feeling dell parts are designed to break down after 2 years of use so they can make more money :(
